Too often I think of things to post but never follow through. I suppose it’s because most of them end up in my art journal.
Too often I want to rid myself of the reasons as to why I can’t let go of trivial things. One of my all time favorites is the amount of film I collect, as if I’m waiting for a special occasion to be able to use it. (In all seriousness I’m practically hoarding this stuff) I know it’s just my inner perfectionist planting seeds of, “That could have been better” or “Did you really take a photo of THAT? Why?!” that is fearful of not liking uncertain outcomes which ultimately prevents me from blowing through 5 rolls of film in a weekend.
Maybe I should take a clue from Dali:
